A new conveyancing portal promises to offer “significant” cost savings that brokers can pass directly onto customers.

Conveybuddy, which launched the portal, said it allows introducers to choose the best providers for their clients’ conveyancing needs at the best price.

The range of products offered includes surveys and an all-inclusive remortgage which includes all disbursements and a fixed referral fee.

Conveybuddy CEO, Harpal Singh, said there is a lack of transparency as panels have increased fees to increase their margins.

He added: "Our model, which embraces market leading technology, seeks to revolutionise this status quo.

“By understanding exactly what intermediaries want, we feel we have created a solution that leads the market - in terms of pricing, technology, service, and support.”

Referral fees are paid the week after exchange on purchases and the week after completion on remortgages and Conveybuddy claims not to take a "large slice" of any fees.

Singh leads the team who launched the portal alongside John Phillps, who both return to the conveyancing market after nearly five years.
