It is important too that independent advisers review their activity to ensure they continue to meet the standards for independence and if not, how to remedy the position.
Restricted propositions need to be clear for consumers and if these can be simply worded it will help avoid creating confusion. Whether you offer independent advice or restricted, the acid test will be the quality of the consumer outcome.
